Privacy policy

What this site knows about you.

Effective July 4, 2026 · Proportional Data, SPC

The short version: this site sets no cookies, runs no third-party trackers or analytics, and sells or shares nothing about you. There is no account to create and no profile to build. The one exception is the ordinary server data our host needs to deliver a page — described below, and never used to track you.

Proportional Data, SPC is a Washington Social Purpose Corporation. This policy states, in plain terms, exactly what happens when you visit proportionaldata.com. For why we hold our own site to the standard we measure on everyone else, see our practices.

What we collect: nothing

We do not ask for, or store, any information about you. There is no analytics, no advertising, no session replay, no fingerprinting, and no data broker on this site. We do not build a profile of you and have nothing to sell.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies and writes nothing to your device — no local storage, no pixels, no beacons. Because there is nothing to consent to, there is no consent banner. Every script and font is served from our own domain, so loading this page makes no third-party requests of any kind. Your visit is announced to no one.

What our host processes

This is a static site delivered by our hosting provider, Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel's edge network briefly processes the standard technical data every request carries — your IP address, browser user-agent, and the page requested — to deliver the page and protect the service from abuse. We do not use this data to identify, track, or profile visitors, and we do not combine it with anything else. It is handled under Vercel's privacy policy.

Your privacy choices

We do not sell or share your personal information — in the ordinary sense of those words, or as defined under laws like the California and Washington privacy acts. Because we collect no personal information and disclose none to anyone, there is nothing to opt out of. If that ever changes, this page will say so first, and we will provide a working opt-out mechanism before it does.

AI systems and indexing

We invite search engines and AI systems to read and cite our published measurements; see our robots.txt and llms.txt. That posture concerns our public data, not you — nothing here turns your visit into training data, because we capture nothing about your visit.

Children

This site is a measurement and advisory resource intended for a general professional audience. We knowingly collect no information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change, we will update this page and revise the effective date above. Any material change — in particular any move away from "collects nothing" — would be stated prominently, not buried here.
